About Prints For A Cause

Your favorite bands, their favorite causes

Its not just a slogan. Capturing and preserving the visual aspect of the live concert experience is incredibly important to us at Prints For A Cause. Giving back to the community is equally important. We give back to the community through live music photography. The bands we photograph select the causes most important to them. We donate the proceeds from print sales to those causes.

The idea for Prints For A Cause started in the summer of 2010. As a long-time fan of The String Cheese Incident, I decided to approach the band about offering signed, limited photographic prints from their upcoming Red Rocks shows, with proceeds from print sales going to the organization of their choice. The band was immediately on board, selecting Boulder, Colorado based Conscious Alliance as the organization to benefit from print proceeds.  I photographed all three shows, selected one image, and we offered color 16×24 prints, which the band signed, and I signed and numbered. In the end, we donated $2200 from print proceeds to Conscious Alliance, and the seed for Prints For A Cause was planted.

I want to personally thank you for your interest in live music photography and your support of Prints For A Cause.

Sincerely,

Mitch Kline
Founder and Photographer
